FREE VoIP Software
for our online conference room
It only takes about five minutes to download your free VoIP conference software, but you'll want to go ahead and get
everything all set up as soon as possible. That way if you need assistance, you will have time to get help and not miss
anything. Our room has audio and video, as well as text chat capabilities. To take
full advantage of its offerings, your computer should have a sound card and speakers so you can listen, and an external microphone or headset if
you want to talk. If you don't have a microphone you can always communicate by typing in the chat box, BUT in order to fully participate in our
events you must have working speakers so you can hear us. Be sure to check them (see below).*
All Internet conference room applications at the moment are just for Windows, not Macs (many Mac owners attend
in absentia).
Minimum system requirements are:
- Microsoft Windows 98SE** or higher through Windows 7
- Pentium III or compatible
- 64 MB RAM
- 1 MB available space on hard drive
- 20 to 56K dial up, DSL or Cable Internet connection
- Sound Card & Speakers
- Microphone and Webcam (optional)
Quick Start Download Guide-- STEP
1: Click here to get your free conference room.
When the gray box appears click on "open" (or "run"), "open" (or "run"), check the license agreement box, then
"install."
If your firewall alerts you, be sure to "allow" the "Audio/Video Conference Software" entries.*** It's quite safe.
That's it, you're done! It will automatically load your conference room, and put a "Conference" icon
on your desktop for access later. It looks like this:

Conference
If by some chance it's not on your desktop, go to Start All Programs Audio Conference Conference, and enter the room from there.
STEP 2:
To enter the room just double-click on the "Conference" icon on your desktop. Should you get a security warning, click
"Run"--it's ok.
When entering the room please type in your FULL name (preferably with the name you used to
register, so I will know who you are), then choose "P. J.'s Room" from the drop
down menu, (ignore the Moderator password request--no password is needed) and click
OK.
The room is always open (24/7) so go ahead, feel free to enter and take a look around.
Just please don't wait until the last day or especially the last minute before an event.
You wouldn't want to miss anything, so download your free software now.
* It is highly recommended that you check to see if your
speakers are working before attending an event, otherwise you may not be able to hear the presentation. You can easily check your speakers here.
** Are you using Windows 98 but don't know if it's
98SE (Second Edition)? You can find out by clicking on the "My Computer" icon on your desktop, then "Control Panel," then
"System."
*** The vast majority has no problems with this simple
download but a few can experience problems caused by their firewall or anti-virus software. This is easily remedied by temporarily
disabling your Internet firewall and any anti-virus protection software (like Norton, McAfee, etc.) you may have by RIGHT clicking on their icon
in the system tray (gray or blue bar at the very bottom on your monitor's screen) near the clock. Then reinstall the conference
room.
After downloading remember to turn your firewall and anti-virus software back on by using the same procedure as above.
You can always contact P. J. should you have any other problems.

If you could use a conference room of your own (to teach classes, hold meditations, or just talk
to long distance friends and family, etc.) you can have unlimited use for a month for
$1 here.
