I have been in major temples around the world (including Egypt, Peru, Tibet, Nepal, China, and Mexico), but never
have I been so impressed--no, awed--by the Shakti Sthala or Oneness Temple that Sri Kalki Bhagavan has built in Golden
City, India. And at the time it was still only under construction!
The first three photos were taken when I was there in September, 2004, then a year later. By
early 2006 all of its rooftops were covered with beautiful white marble, and by mid 2007 the entire outer
facade was covered, as seen in the video below.
After being under construction for seven years, it was personally consecrated by Sri Amma
Bhagavan and opened to the world on April 22, 2008. You can see it in its final magnificance in the
bottom photos.
