December 20, 2007 The Fiji campus is now open, and the spring course schedule for English-speaking Westerners has just been announced for the first two classes. These 9 day Level One courses (previously the 21 Day Process) will be held in Fiji on March 20-28 and March 28-April 5, 2008. The first 9 day Level Two courses (for Level One graduates only, and previously referred to as the 10 Day Deepening Process) will be held at the Oneness University campus in India on March 15-23 and April 11-19, 2008.
November 2, 2007 It was just announced that the Oneness Temple is finally to be consecrated. This incredible temple in Golden City, India, that has been under construction since early 2001, now has a definite opening date of April 22, 2008.
October 29, 2007 As mentioned in the October 4 update below, the 21 Day Process scheduled for Jan 2-22, 2008, should be the last to be held in India for Westerners. After that all future Oneness courses for attendees from Australia, New Zealand, Canada, America, China, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, and all other SE Asian countries will be held at the new campus in the Fiji Islands. Latin America, European countries, Russia and all former Russian Republics will continue to attend Oneness courses in Golden City, India. The 21 Day course format will be shortened from 21 to nine days. The actual course will be seven days in length, with one day on each end to allow for arrival and departure. The name of the course will probably be changed to "Level 1." All 10 Day Deepening Processes will be still be conducted at the Oneness University in Golden City, India. These courses will similarly be shortened to the same nine day period--a seven day course with one day on each end for arrival and departure. The name of this course may likewise be changed and called "Level 2." Things could change since the Fiji campus is still under construction, but as of now this is the most current information we have from the guides at the Oneness University.
October 4, 2007 (an update) Since this is an update to the prior entries of July 7 and June 15 below, you may want to review them. It was recently announced that there will be at least one more 21 Day Process for Westerners to be held in India. The dates are January 2-22, 2008. This is particularly good news for those who want to attend this course at the Oneness University in India, as opposed to the Fiji campus.
September 5, 2007 There have been some recent changes that will be of interest to those planning to attend courses at the Oneness University... It has always been Amma and Bhagavan's wish that those attending their Oneness University discover the truth of their own particular faith. Sri AmmaBhagavan respect all faiths and don't wish to impose any form of religious or cultural impositions on anyone. Therefore in the future there will be no homas (Indian fire rituals) performed as part of the 21 Day Process courses, nor will Amma or Bhagavan's darshans be included. However, those attending the 10 Day Deepening Processes will have the choice of attending a completely secular program, or one that includes traditional Indian practices. Also note that Sri Amma Bhagavan's darshans in Nemam are available only to Indians, and are no longer open to foreign visitors. This is because the facilities in Nemam are currently being developed as a sacred place of pilgrimage for Indians, where they can freely follow their ancient practices and special cultural rituals. The needs of people from other countries, religions, and cultural backgrounds will be served by various other programs offered at the campuses of the Oneness University in Golden City.
July 14, 2007 A division of Bhagavan's Oneness Movement has been created that consists of 40 dasas assigned specifically to travel all over India. These specially dedicated dasas present themselves as "friends" and are reaching out to people in remote villages and tribal societies. They give no teachings, just offer to give Oneness Blessings (deekshas) to "put them in touch with God, who has been guiding their life all along." Because these remote societies are located in isolated mountains and forests, the villagers have never been exposed to conflicting philosophies or religious conditioning, and the deekshas quickly awaken them to a new experience of life. It is said that the rapid transformation takes them into states of great joy. So far, these dasas have already given deekshas to villagers in 18 of India's 26 states throughout northern and southern India. This video tells of some of the results.
July 7, 2007 More information is now available about the new Oneness University extension that's under construction in Fiji. This is actually an update to the June 15 entry below, but since it's lengthy I've posted it separately. It is also very time-sensitive information for Westerners considering attending the 21 Day Process in India. Dasaji Krishnaraj recently announced that the Fiji campus is expected to be completed in October of this year, with 21 Day Process courses hopefully to begin there in November or December. These classes will most likely be for those residing in American and Canada (and possibly South America, Australia and New Zealand). Europeans and other English-speaking Westerners, etc., will probably still attend classes in India. It hasn't been fully decided yet, but it's possible that the Fiji 21 Day Processes will be divided into three classes scheduled over a period of time. This would accommodate those who can't take time off from their jobs for extended periods but, obviously, would require three separate trips to Fiji to complete the course. There are several advantages for attending the 21 Day Process in Fiji--shorter flying time from the Americas and less expensive air fare, great weather, 3 to 4 people in a room as opposed to dormitory style accom-modations. Disadvantages--since the Oneness Temple is in India you won't get to see it. (Attending the three separate Fiji classes could be an advantage or disadvantage depending on your preferences.) Anyone considering attending the 21 Day Process should keep these things in mind when making a decision. It is also important to remember that much of this is still tentative, as many decisions and final details pertaining to the Fiji campus have not yet been made. The upcoming August 2-22 and October 2-22, 2007, 21 Day courses will probably be the last conducted in India for English-speaking North Americans. If you have your heart set on going to India for this course, you should register as soon as possible at onenessmovement.org to reserve your place. Krishnaraj said that the 10 Day Deepening Process (for those who have completed the 21 Day Process) will still be held in India for everyone.
June 15, 2007 Ananda Giri told everyone at the LA Oneness Conference today that an extension of the Oneness University is being built in Fiji. 300 acres of land were generously donated, and it is already under construction. As soon as it is completed or nears completion, a formal announcement will be made. It sounded so beautiful as he described the perfect weather (year round) and rainforests in the background, and ocean views in the front.
June 9, 2007 Happy anniversary, Amma and Bhagavan! Today is Amma and Bhagavan's wedding anniversary, and it has been pro-claimed World Relationship Day. Thousands are helping them celebrate all around the world. The dasas at the Oneness University have provided us with a Relationship Day message from Amma Bhagavan. You can see it here.
May 21, 2007 Yesterday's World Oneness Day was a tremendous success! A report from one who attended in Golden City has said that upwards of 200,000 people were present for the event in India. This is a rough translation of what she said...
UPDATE May 31: You can now watch a recorded broadcast of Bhagavan and Amma giving their talks on video here. May 15, 2007 There's a new book out and it's all about deeksha and Bhagavan's Oneness Movement. For his new book on awakening, A. Ardagh interviewed Sri Bhagavan and Amma, Ananda Giri and many of the dasajis at the Oneness University, as well as hundreds of deeksha-givers around the world. The book has Bhagavan's full endorsement and blessing, and has just been released this week. You can get a 40% discount when you order here. Here is an excerpt:
UPDATE August 22: In this recently released video, Arjuna is shown interviewing Sri Bhagavan about the phenomenon of deeksha for his awakening book.
April 2, 2007 A new temple has been built near Amma's ashram in Nemam, India, and it was inaugurated on March 7, during Bhagavan's birthday celebration. It incorporates the three forces of creation, destruction, and preservation, and many Indian rituals and prayers are conducted there. If you're in the area be sure to stop by and partake in its blessings.
March 24, 2007 The Oneness Movement of North America and Anandagiri has invited everyone to attend the upcoming International Oneness Conference in Los Angeles, California, USA on June 17, 2007 to be held in the LA Convention Center. It is Bhagavan's mission for all to "awaken from darkness to light, from untruth to truth," so it is hoped that as many people as possible will be able to attend this extraordinary conference. It's a prolific time of Grace. Dasaji Ananda Giri and Tony Robbins will both be speaking to the group, and Rick Allen, the drummer for Def Leppard, will lead a drum circle. Plus, you will be getting Oneness Blessings from the hundreds of deeksha-givers that will be present! Rarely does one get to be in the presence of a being so completely in Oneness as is Ananda Giri. To be in his presence is to be in the presence of pure Divine Grace. Do consider taking advantage of this exceptional opportunity. The cost is $125 USD (or $150 the day of the event). More information can be found at www.onenessmovement.org . UPDATE: Uttama is back! Some of you may remember Uttama when he assisted Raniji in the Oneness Movement office in California. Later he was called to India where he became a fully awakened Cosmic Being. It is said that Krishnaji (Amma and Bhagavan's son) even seeks him out knowing his incredibly high state. Uttama may be at the LA Conference on June 17 and everyone present will certainly be graced by his divine intention, if not his personal presence.
March 7 Happy Birthday Bhagavan! On his birthday, March 7, Bhagavan always issues a special message for the world. You can watch the video and/or read the full transcript. This is an excerpt--
February 20, 2007 We were recently informed that (in the words of Dasaji Radhakrishna) "as the phenomenon grows" all deekshas for enlightenment can now contain deekshas for youths, healings, and boons. Even so, deeksha-givers are still given the option to give them separately when it's appropriate to do so. So all our future deeksha events will always include boons! Plus, it's now permissible for children of all ages, women in all stages of pregnancy, and those with mental problems to have deekshas for Oneness.
January 9, 2007 Phenomenal news: The 10 Day Deepening Process (for graduates of the 21 Day Process) that is currently in progress in India is the first course that's ever been conducted at GC1, the Oneness Temple site! One attendee who is there now reports that, "The energy is off the charts." Bhagavan's Oneness Temple is an incredibly impressive structure that is nearing completion. There are
some pictures of it in the photo/video gallery.
January 2, 2007 It was recently suggested by the guides from the Oneness University that we begin to refer to deeksha as "Oneness deeksha," "Oneness blessing," or "Oneness prayer." The grace of the deeksha energy remains the same, but the term for it has been expanded to become more appropriately descriptive, and helps to differentiate our Amma Bhagavan deekshas from deekshas given by others. They also reminded us that the strength of Oneness deekshas becomes more powerful throughout each year.
